Ride 'em cowgirl!
Sun, mountains, olive groves, country tracks and beautiful sea views. Is there a more fitting way to see all this other than on horseback in the Andalusian countryside? Enjoy all this from the saddle on a horse-trekking excursion in the mountains behind the famous luxury resort of Marbella.
Whether you fancy yourself as Liv Tyler in "The Lord of the Rings" or admit to being a complete beginner, the horse riding school has horses and routes to suit you. This day out with a difference is something to be enjoyed, and if you've never been in the saddle before you'll wonder why you didn't try horse riding earlier. |
Ride along trails and passes through quaint Spanish villages and luscious pine forests. Admire the stunning scenery and get to grips with your new four-legged friend. All of the horses are friendly and well-trained and will undoubtedly become your best buddy by the end of the ride.
With the weather in the Malaga region being famously good all-year-round, this is an ideal activity for any time of the year. Hats and other equipment are provided, but remember that you will need to wear long trousers (to protect your legs from the saddle and stirrups) and as always, sun cream in the summer (May - October) and a warm jumper or light jacket in the winter (December - March). |

Henorita's Hint #1:
It's important you wear comfortable long trousers. If you wear shorts you will get really bad chaffing on your legs.
Henorita's Hint #2:
In the summer, it will be hot so make sure you put on plenty of sun block!
